Nani Noverita has been a steelworker, a firefighter, an activist, a flight attendant, an adoptee, a single mom, a volunteer, and homeless throughout her life. She was born in Indonesia, raised in California, matriculated in the British school system, and majored in Psychology, Sociology, and International Business. Her diverse life has left her with a passion for activism that has to lead her to work with No Child for Sale, Human Trafficking, Habitat for Humanity, and PACT (People Acting in Community Together).
She considers herself blessed with the opportunity and hopes to use her power and position to inspire others.
She attended and graduated from the pre-apprenticeship program with Non-Traditional Employment for Women (N.E.W.) and graduated a 3-year apprenticeship.
She has been a journeywoman for 5 years, Ironworker for 8 years, and Foreman. She has worked on numerous projects including Greenworks, Solar work, bolting and rigging, seismic retrofit, and a chemical plant.
