We are living in an Altered State and Dana Castillo is here to talk about how happiness and productivity are related. Dana Castillo has been delivering thought and design leadership in NYC for almost four years. She’s passionate about the connection between healthy materials, beautiful spaces, and wellness. After she graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, she headed directly to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to live and work in marketing and sales. Inspired by interiors, she decided to go back to school and received her Associate Degree in Interior Design in Michigan. In 2005, she moved to the Big City from Detroit and never looked back. In 2013, she took another leap of faith and moved to Paris to study her MBA in International Luxury Brand Management. She started working for Tarkett in 2016, and is able to combine the best of left and right brain thinking to deliver thorough and considerate solutions to her client’s design problems. She is also the CBRE Champion for Tarkett NYC. She resides in Tarrytown, NY with her husband, Francis, and 5 year old daughter, Charlotte. Dana is an avid dancer and in these times, has enjoyed exploring fun Zoom classes.
